During the Cold War, two patriots Vytautas Andziulis and Juozas Bacevičius decided to resist the occupational regime in their own way. In 1978, in the village of Saliai, under the greenhouse in the yard of Andziulis’ house, the construction of an underground printing house began. Over a decade of its activity, about 138 000 copies of secret publications have been published here. During this tour you will have the opportunity to enter the printing house via the secret passage, see unique printing equipment and hear the story of V. Andziulis’ wife Birutė about their own personal experiences dointg the unfavorable activities to the Soviet regime.
