Our story relates to the life of a scenographer Liudas Truikys under tough circumstances caused by wars, during the post-war period and the years of Soviet occupation. The artist’s points of view and a distinctive mode of actions can serve as a source of inspiration when meeting one’s own challenges. Although nowadays we face less acute situations, our emotional experience in different spheres is similar. The story will be presented by the employees of M. K. Čiurlionis National Museum of Art who knew the maestro personally. Due to the narrator’s links with Liudas Truikys we hope to create a perfect opportunity to get a more comprehensive understanding of the authentic and subtle personality.
