The album “Lea Goldberg. Poems” (2020) was inspired by the work of Lea Goldberg (1911–1970), perhaps the most famous Israeli poet from Kaunas. Although she emigrated to Palestine in 1935, her work is full of Lithuanian and Kaunas imagery. Israel and Lithuania remained equally dear to the poet. There are very few translations of Goldberg’s literary work in Lithuania. Thus the Kaunas 2022 CityTelling Festival has dedicated several projects to commemorate the poet’s memory in her hometown Kaunas.
