We invite people to talk about material things that live different lives and are no longer used for their primary function. First shoes, Baptismal robe, flower pressed between pages of a book, photographs, letters, a box full of keepsakes – they all are reservoirs of memories, tangible ties with our loved and passed ones, reminders of merry times and not so merry experiences. The first part of the hour will be devoted to the stories of the exhibition “Confided memories: People, Things and their Stories”. Hopefully, these stories will inspire listeners and encourage them to show their personal keepsakes and share their stories. People, who love both, listening to and telling stories, are welcomed.
