Zapyškis has had an active Jewish community for a long time, so many forgotten traces of Litvak culture have survived in the town.

The CityTelling Festival invites you to get acquainted with these cultural traces on a 1.5-hour tour of Zapyškis (guide Karolis Dambrauskas), and then to join the klezmer musicians – violinist Boris Kirzner, percussionist Arkadijus Gotesmanas, accordionist Darius Bagdonavičius and clarinettist Haroldas Parulis – who will be coming in a musical car. The concert will take place next to Zapyškis church.

 

IMPORTANT. The tour will start at 13:00 next to Zapyškis church, and the concert at 14:30 (duration 30 minutes).
