Following the illustrated map of the barracks in Šančiai, we will learn about the social housing quarters of the 1940s, experience their eclecticism and the beginnings of gentrification. The hidden treasures will capture local myths, legends and social challenges. At the end of the route we will find ourselves in the legacy of the tsarist occupation – Kaunas Fortress Warehouse P.A.R A.K.A.S where we will be greeted with warm tea and the sound of vinyl.
